The Workaholic Series

In October, over at BellaOnline, I did a series of articles and one quiz dedicated to those folks, myself included with a preoccupation with work.  Now, there are many views on this, and many differing ideas on what constitutes a “workaholic” versus a “hard worker.”  But one thing is clear – a hard worker can “punch out” and live comfortably in the real world – a workaholic can be in the real world and fantasizing about working.

Being an entrepreneur, and a creative person, my ideas come to me at any time they choose.  So, if an article idea pops in my head in the middle of the night, I write it down.  If a business idea comes to me while I’m out walking, I act on it as soon as I’m back to my computer.  It’s how I’m wired.

But from researching and publishing this series, I have learned some new techniques and have renewed my dedication to balancing my work life with the rest of my life.

Many of you are entrepreneurs, run small businesses, and home-based businesses and might find some relevance to your work life, in this series.

Feel free to pop on over to the start of the series on workaholism, and see if any of it applies to you.
