As an entrepreneur - whether you’re a sole proprietor, an independent contractor or you own your home based business or small brick & mortar business - you likely are excellent at a few key things. That’s what has brought you the success you have so far. Congratulations!

When you add up how much you, as the center of your business universe, are worth per hour… and you multiply that by the hours you spend on the mundane, the minutiae, and whatever you’re not the best at - that’s an incredible cost to your company. - Meg Meyer

What can you delegate to others? What can you empower your employees to do (without micro-managing them?) And what can you outsource to Small Business Services providers, like MegMeyer.com?

Regardless of the (likely tax-deductible*) business expense of outsourcing - when you add the cost of the entrepreneur’s time - and add in the value of freeing up the principles’ time to do that which they are experts at - the benefits are priceless to the bottom line of the business.

Rockstars of sports, industry, business, and, well… music - cannot reach their top performance without coaching. It is also true that a solitary entrepreneur needs to learn how to partner and delegate certain tasks in order to grow their business and, ultimately, profit.

I get that not everyone is willing to give up a trip to Puerto Rico to stay home and start a business that is guaranteed to succeed. (Not me, personally - I’d rather start the business and then have ten trips to Tahiti next year!)

And I know some of my readers are barely making any money online - so they don’t want to fork over the big bucks to start a business the right way. So they struggle and putter along making $5 here, $10 there, and a $25 day is a good day for a stay-at-home mom trying to earn some shopping cash. I understand.
